My name is Ossi Oikari. I am a Finnish sound designer and foley artist, as well as a musician and composer, living and working in Finland. I hold both a BA and an MA in Film Sound Design from Aalto University and work as a freelance professional.
My relationship with art begins within the body. I work at the intersection of minimalism and poetics, focusing on rhythm, repetition, and sensory presence. Art, for me, is a way of listening—to movement, breath, and time.

Experiments
I am an enthusiastic guitarist and will release an “american primitive” style album soon. American primitive is a guitar playing style where avant-gardish compositions are played with country/blues fingerstyle technique.
